EPICentre is aimed at supporting highly motivated individuals dedicated to launching and growing great ideas. VentureStart is focused on providing dynamic and flexible coaching and advisory support from business professionals, experienced entrepreneurs, and experts. Active clients participating in VentureStart also have access to online digital tools and resources, coworking space, exclusive funding opportunities, and the opportunity to connect with our amazing community of entrepreneurs and business owners.

We support individuals or startups in any of the following stages:

  • Ideation: I have an idea, but where do I start?
  • Build: I have a defined business model but need help building a market-ready roadmap.
  • Launch: I am almost market-ready, but I need support finessing my business plan & launch strategy.

Benefits

Active clients in VentureStart have access to:

  1. Coaching and Advisory Services
    Each participant will have the opportunity to meet regularly with an experienced and dynamic business coach. Your coach will give you targeted advice and recommendations, help guide you in some of the questions you might have, listen to your ideas, and give honest feedback. When applicable, clients will also have the opportunity to receive 1:1 advisory support from business professionals and seasoned entrepreneurs.
  2. Co-working Space
    Our co-working space is buzzing with passionate individuals working on innovative ideas and solutions. Each participant will have access to hot desks and meeting rooms during our operating hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm).
  3. Members-only Resources
    These include digital guides and videos, invitations to special events, and opportunities to leverage our panel of experts from multiple disciplines and industries.
  4. Entrepreneurial Community
    We pride ourselves on creating an amazing community of entrepreneurs and business owners. We’ve heard it many times, entrepreneurship can be lonely, and because of that, we try our best to connect you with likeminded folks to share ideas, bond over common interests, and exchange valuable tips and insights.

Eligibility

This service is only available to students, recent graduates (up to 7 years post-graduation), or faculty/staff members from the University of Windsor or St. Clair College.

We also typically look for you to have:

  • Passion and enthusiasm for your idea.
  • High degree of willingness and motivation to build a sustainable business model.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to seek new opportunities.
