Wen Teoh

Director & Co-Founder, EPICentre
Wen joined EPICentre in 2014 as a founding member and the Venture Start Director. She has twenty years of experience in entrepreneurship, project management and information technology. She co-founded an international gas distribution company in Malaysia and a high-pressure cylinder distribution company in the US before moving to Windsor. Wen has a BBA from University of Toledo and an MBA from University of Windsor. Wen is very active in her community where she serves on the boards of the WindsorEssex Community Foundation, Art Gallery of Windsor and WEtech Alliance. Wen is a recipient of the Minister’s Award of Excellence 2021 in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship category awarded by the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities.

Sydney manages several entrepreneurial programs while also driving the development of multifaceted projects and events. She continues to work closely with high growth startups examining their business model and product-market fit. Sydney is also an advocate for entrepreneurship and innovation and regularly engages in entrepreneurial activities on and off campus. Sydney obtained her BComm degree from the University of Windsor and Human Resource Management Diploma from St. Clair College. She is also a proud Windsorite and Young Rotarian.

Lauryn Bodde finds joy in supporting positive change, storytelling, highlighting women entrepreneurs & changemakers, and travelling the world. Through her various roles, international travel, and work experience she's developed skills in design, event management, hospitality, logistics, advertising, copywriting, and project management. Entrepreneurship is also one of her many passions and is wondered by those who create something that was only once imagined. She believes that each person has a story to tell and if we keep our minds and hearts open, nothing will fall out.

Jonquil became a Certified Law Clerk in 2000 and currently holds an Associate Membership with the Institute of Law Clerk of Ontario since 2005. She began her career in law at Clarks Barristers & Solicitors in 2000 as a Corporate Law Clerk specializing in not-for-profit corporations and eventually moved into personal injury, Accident Benefits and civil litigation with lawyer, Stephen E. Yoker. She has spent the last 7 years serving as Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director, Office Manager, Law Clerk and Commissioner of Oaths at Community Legal Aid, a project of the Faculty of Law, University of Windsor and enjoyed her role working with law student and serving the Windsor-Essex County region.

Dave Bussière, Ph.D.

Dave joined UWindsor in 2002; before that, he taught for 2 years at the University of Florida & part-time at Queen’s University & Wilfrid Laurier. He also taught at AGH University in Poland & Chitkara University in India. He has held several UWindsor administrative positions and is currently the Area Chair for Marketing & has been the Academic Director for the full-time MBA, the Executive MBA & the Master of Management. He also spent 4 years as Assistant VP/Assistant Provost of UWindsor, responsible for Recruiting, Registrars & Awards. Dave’s research focuses on consumer decision-making. However, his industry experience is primarily in B2B, focusing on SMEs. In 1992, Dave also launched & continues to own a trade publication for the North American door industry.
